Social bowls at the club Summer 2022

The South London Bowling Club has a history of hosting parties, team building events and socials. Our modern clubhouse with bar and kitchen facilities makes it ideal for a get together.

Hiring a rink or ‘barefoot bowls’

We welcome social bowlers to the club who would like to give bowls a go, or play with their friends or colleagues.

Rinks are available to hire on most days when the club is not playing a match, and we have volunteers available to host. In particular, Wednesday and Friday evenings which are club nights from 5pm.

Sessions must be pre-booked in advance and cost £8 per head per 3 hour session which includes use of the green, hire of bowls and our very reasonably priced bar will be open.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are not available after 6pm from the 19th May until the end of August.

We also have a limited number of Saturday late afternoon / evenings that can be booked for parties up to 40 people.

For all events flat soled shoes must be worn on the green.

The 2026 bowling season is open from April 25th.

Filming

The club can also be used for filming with a large clubhouse and bar. Please enquire for availability and rates.
